Years ago I was having health issues ranging from pain, fatigue, to migraines and more. I went from doctor to doctor and none could properly diagnose what was wrong. My health continued to deteriorate to the point that going out was so difficult, I had to use a wheelchair. I finally met a doctor who taught me about changing my eating habits, better managing my stress and the benefits of yoga. These changes had a huge positive impact on my life, and led to my eventual diagnosis of Lyme disease. With the proper diagnosis, new treatment  and lifestyle changes, my health improved to where I could once again live an active life, and no longer needed a wheelchair. A huge milestone for me was being able to go on outdoor hikes unassisted. This pushed me to go back to school to earn my certification as Integrative Nutrition Health Coach in early 2018. I also completed my Bachelor's of Science in Health with a concentration in Healthy Lifestyles Coaching, graduating in Spring 2020. I also earned my certification as a Diabetes Prevention Coach in the Spring of 2019 and became a National Board Certified Health Coach in early 2021.

Having lived with these symptoms puts me in a position to understand what my clients are feeling and dealing with. I also continue to grow in my profession as I have recently added new certifications in Hormone Health and in group health coaching.
